Hollow Cannula
The hollow cannula secures bone marrow tissue effectively. Once the needle is screwed into the target area, the hollow cannula is inserted to tighten the tissue. The main needle and hollow cannula are then removed together, ensuring a complete tissue sample.
Solid Cannula
After the biopsy, the solid cannula is inserted into the hollow cannula to secure the full tissue sample, ensuring no tissue is left behind.
